Frequently Asked Questions *

  • What type of therapy do you offer?

I utilize a few modalities and like to take a dynamic approach with each person. I often utilize DBT, CBT, and IFS to inform my therapy. At this time, all therapy is fully remote.

  • How do I schedule an appointment?

Feel free to click “Book a Consultation” on the upper right hand of the website to book an initial appointment. Alternatively you can email me at: info@healingchapters.com

  • How much do your services cost?

Right now all my services are private pay. I am able to provide you with reimbursable receipts to bill through out of insurance benefits and for reimbursement. I also offer limited sliding scale fees, so feel free to bring up cost if this is a concern during our initial phone call!

  • Do you accept insurance?

I am currently an out-of-network provider. I will provide you with paperwork to submit to your insurance provider in order to be reimbursed or receive out of network benefits.

  • What should I expect during my first session?

During our first session I will use the space to get to know you, understand what your therapy goals are, and answer any questions you might have. We will go over expectations and limitations of therapy, as well as fill out intake paperwork.

  • What is your cancelation policy?

Please reach out via phone or email no less than 24 hours prior to our appointment, or else you will be charged.

  • The No Surprises Act

Under the No Surprises Act, effective January 1, 2022, clients who are uninsured or not using insurance are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining expected costs for services. This estimate helps ensure transparency and prevents unexpected charges. If you would like a Good Faith Estimate, it will be provided upon request or prior to the start of services. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
